What happens when you sign
The button in your email opens the document in your browser. You review it, place your signature, and when everyone has signed, each party receives the completed copy. You do not need an account or a password to sign.
How your document is protected
Every completed document is digitally sealed with a signing certificate, so any later change to the file is detectable. A full audit trail records who viewed and signed, and when.
Who operates it
This signing service is operated by Vertical Business Factory for the businesses that run on its platform. The document you were sent comes from the business named in your email, not from Vertical Business Factory. The signing technology is Documenso, an open source electronic signature platform.
If something looks wrong
Never sign a document you do not recognise or were not expecting. If you were not expecting this document, report the sender here. The business owner is notified and the report is kept on record.
